Rain, rain go away (for more than 2 days) please!

It had been raining here for days, and today it was finally sunny all day!  And fortunately, the water in our backyard has stopped creeping closer to our yard barn.  We used to have a small run-off pond behind our property, but now we have a giant lake.  I couldn't find pictures of our backyard before, but it's pretty obvious that there is way too much water back there!

Easter

Navy's first Easter....she had a Navy dress (corny, I know), we went to church and she screamed and cried in the nursery, so I had to go and stay with her, we went to Kelly and Sally's for lunch and then the Helm's house for dinner.  We had ham twice that day and way too much dessert, but it was a good day.   

My Granny likes to hold Navy, but Navy sometimes doesn't want to be held....

Here we go...

I am going to try to actually post things regularly on this blog.  I won't promise anything, but I will try.  Jonathan will also post from time to time, and I am sure it will be about movies or music and there will be lists involved.  Hopefully he won't bore you too much :) 

We had a busy weekend.  Jonathan's sister Heidi and her husband Allen, along with their daughter, Nara, came and visited the family.  They live in CA and we don't get to see them very often.  This was the first time they met Navy too, and I think she really liked them!  We also tried to get all the grandkids on Jonathan's side to have their picture taken, and it would have been cute, except for the fact that Navy was not feeling well and she screamed and cried the entire time.  It turned out that she was starting to get an ear infection, and she started meds on Monday and is feeling a lot better now.
