Slacker.....

I have failed at keeping up with this blog.  For some reason, the last half of 2013 has been very busy.  I will try to catch up---so sorry if this entry goes on and on and on.

Navy got to see her first movie at the theater--Monsters University.  She liked it, but was a little restless after a while.  She eventually fell asleep, but her second movie, Frozen, was a huge success!

Navy loves playing outside and taking walks.

We went blackberry picking one Saturday this summer, and she had a lot of fun---even though she won't eat blackberries :)

This is Navy's "going to work" outfit.  I hope I look this put together when I leave the house for work!

My friend Amy had her fourth baby, Samuel, this summer and Navy was so excited to hold him!  He was the first baby that Navy has ever really held.

Navy turned 3 in September!  We had two luau themed birthday parties for her.  She was really in to her birthday this year, knew it meant she was a year older, and was very excited about the cake and parties!  She continued her love of swimming from last summer, which is great because her grandparents and great uncle and aunt have pools.

Navy started preschool this year.  I was really sad her first day---It was this point that I realized how quickly she is growing up.  She was shy at the open house, but quickly learned to love her class and her teacher.  Now she asks everyday if she is going to preschool.  She attends two mornings per week for three hours, and this amount of time is perfect.  It also gives Jonathan some much needed free time.

Her favorite day, though, is Leader Day.  She gets to bring an item in for "Show and Share," wear her leader shirt and "leads" the class in their activities.

In October, we went to Bowling Green and visited Grandpa Harry and Grandma Vickie while they were up visiting, enjoyed the pumpkin patch with her preschool, went to Reid's Orchard in Owensboro, walked through the zoo, had her preschool Halloween party and went trick-or-treating.

On Thanksgiving, Navy's new cousin, Mary Emma, came to visit.  Navy loves her new cousin!

Uncle Michael and Aunt Anne Marie also came to visit us.

Now on to the month of December.  It was a very busy, but very special month.  We celebrated the birth of Jesus, and spent time with family and friends.  Navy loves holidays as much as her mom does, so we had a lot of fun this year.   I can't wait to see what 2014 holds in store for us.

Still not a huge fan of Santa....
