Dyeing Easter Eggs

Yesterday was Navy's first experience dyeing Easter eggs.  We had been talking about it for almost a week, building the experience up, so she was VERY excited.  I laugh because she had no idea what "dyeing eggs" actually meant, but she was determined it would be fun!

Aunt Melanie, Cousin Josh and Aunt Sally got everything ready for Navy to dye the eggs.  At first it wasn't that messy......that quickly changed.

Navy had so much fun and was really proud of her eggs.  Her favorite thing to do was paint an egg with a Q-tip. Today she gets to hunt for the eggs she dyed.  I hope she likes that as much as she liked dyeing them!
